It was a quieter week in terms of games for GLC alumni, but below, we take a look at the highlights from the games that were played during the third week of the season.
Highlights
Max Wright - Indiana State University
Wright, a catcher/outfielder at Indiana State, opened up 2021 with a home run during the team’s first game and hasn’t looked back since. After a 4/9 weekend, with seven walks and a bomb, he’s now hitting .382 with a .500 OBP. He was a big part of the Sycamores’ sweeping FIU this weekend and has been crucial to their success thus far.

Jake Wilson - Liberty University
Wilson, an outfielder at Liberty, put together a good weekend for himself against UCF. He picked up four hits, and on Friday, in the back-end of a double-header, went deep. The Flames swept the series and now ride a four-game win streak into week four.

Owen Diodati - University of Alabama
Diodati and the Crimson Tide are now 10-2 on the year after going 3-1 in week three. The Niagara Falls, Ont. native hit his third bomb of the year, a grand slam (his second) on Sunday and is now hitting .278 with ten runs batted in.

Tyrus Barclay - University of Mary
Barclay (Wyoming, Ont) went deep in his first game of the season for the University of Mary on Tuesday, driving in a pair during his start behind the plate.
Jameson Hart - William & Penn University
Hart picked up seven hits in what was a huge week for the senior outfielder. The Sarnia, Ont. native drove in three runs on Friday, helping propel William & Penn to a win and has been a key factor to their 10-4 start.

Ethan Baptie - Dodge City
Baptie is hitting .300 since Dodge City started gameplay a couple of weeks ago. He picked up a hit and drove in a run on Saturday, and last Tuesday, scored three times with two RBI's in his three-hit performance.
