Experience the high calibre baseball of the Great Lake Canadians program – now available to our younger athletes
In 2023, the Great Lake Canadians launched their new Jr. Canadians development program. The Jr. Canadians program was created to give young baseball players the opportunity to learn baseball fundamentals from one of the leading coaching staffs in the country. This fall and winter program aims to develop Canada’s next generation of elite baseball players by giving them access to Canada’s leading player development staff and state-of-the-art facilities.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE AND FEATURES
Two fall sessions. Fall sessions include:
- Professional instruction from GLC development staff and current GLC players
- 3+ hours of skill development
- Workouts at the home of the Great Lake Canadians - Royal Field
- Open to multi-sport athletes
- Jr. Canadians Apparel Package
10 winter dates from March through April (Saturday mornings or Thursday nights).
Winter sessions include:
- Ten, 1.5-hour sessions
- Flexible weekly schedule signup options to allow for multi-sport athlete participation
-15+ total hours of off-season instruction
- Professional instruction from GLC development staff and current GLC players
- A game on Royal Field at the end of the program
- All workouts will be held at Centrefield Sports and Royal Field (weather dependent)
FALL AND WINTER PROGRAM FEES:
$950 +HST
ELIGIBILITY (FALL 2024/WINTER 2025)
Open to REP players born in 2012, 2013 & 2014 (11U, 12U and 13U)
Players will be evaluated based on skill level and will then be hand selected to participate in the JR. Canadians program.
