As we enter week three of the college season, we look at how GLC's alumni performed this past week. There were a pair of grand slams, plenty of solid pitching appearances, and a lot of standout performances.
Highlights
Max Wright - Indiana State University
With a hit in each of Indiana State's four games this past week, Wright now has a seven-game hitting streak to start the season. The Toronto, Ontario native walked three times in the first game of the doubleheader on Saturday and hit his second bomb of the year in the second game. He enters week three hitting .360.

Jake Wilson - Liberty University
Wilson, out of New Lowell, Ontario, collected six hits over the weekend against TCU. In one of the two games on Saturday, he picked up four hits in as many at-bats. Meanwhile, on Wednesday against NC A&T, he drove in three runs with a double in a 16-2 win. The outfielder is off to a good start with his new club.
Lawson Burnett - Northwood University
Burnett, a senior from London, Ontario, opened his season with Northwood on the 27th and picked up a pair of hits and drove in a run during his first appearance in Sunday’s game against Indianapolis. The Timberwolves swept the weekend series.
Garner Spoljaric - Stetson University
Spoljaric had another solid performance in a Stetson win vs North Alabama. He threw one inning and struck out one, not allowing a run. The Hatters are perfect thus far, and on Wednesday, will look to bring their win streak to double-digits.
Alex Orenczuk - LSU Alexandria
After a great first week, Orenczuk continued his damage this past weekend. He added five hits over the three games LSU Alexandria played. Meanwhile, he drove in seven runs, in large part thanks to his grand slam in Friday’s game. He is off to a spectacular start to his year.

Jacob Douglas - Ft Hays University
Douglas, a Georgetown, Ontario native threw on Saturday vs Pittsburg State. He went an inning and a third without allowing a run, picking up a K in his appearance.
Jordan Marks - USC Upstate
After winning the Big South Conference Starting Pitcher of the Week Award to begin the year, Marks was nearly as good in his week two start. He went six and two-thirds, struck out eight, only allowing one run. The right-hander is throwing to a 0.71 ERA to open the '21 campaign.

Michael MacDougall - University of Indianapolis
MacDougall threw in his first appearance of the year on Sunday vs Northwood. He was perfect, pitching one inning without any action from the opposing hitters.
Owen Diodati - University of Alabama
Diodati picked up four hits over the last week, hitting .307 during the five games. He nearly tied Wednesday's game vs UT Martin in the seventh with a homer; instead, he picked up his first triple of the year and scored a couple of pitches later.

Jameson Hart - William & Penn University
Hart, a Sarnia, Ontario native, has been a force in William & Penn’s lineup. After a big week, he’s now hitting .360 on the year and slugging .600. He’s been a key factor to the club’s 6-1 start.
Nicholas George - William & Penn University
George picked up his first collegiate hit over the weekend, driving in a run in the process. Like Hart, a Sarnia, Ontario native, the freshman is now one for five on the year.
Eric Martin - Olney CC
Martin opened his season with a bang for Olney CC. Not only has he picked up eight hits, but he’s gone deep twice, including a grand slam on Saturday. The Kitchener, Ontario native is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball to start the year with Olney.

Ethan Baptie - Dodge City
Baptie, an outfielder at Dodge City, played in two of the first three games of the season for the club. He went two for five with a triple while scoring four times. He also stole a base and walked. The right-handed hitting outfielder is off to a solid start to the year and looks to carry that into a busy week to open March for the Conquistadors.
