The regular season has ended for most of our alumni, and with the playoffs now underway, we take a look at how the last week has gone for GLC alum's.

Highlights

Ari Sechopoulos - College of Charleston

Sechopoulos concluded his regular season with a five-hit week, hitting his seventh home run, a grand slam. The senior first baseman hit .283 with a .482 slugging percentage during the season. His 38 RBI’s were second on the team. He begins postseason play on Wednesday against Towson.

Max Wright - Indiana State University

Wright ended his season the same way it started; with a bomb. However, unlike Opening Day, Wright hit two home runs and drove in six runs in a win against Evansville to cap off the season. His 1.105 OPS, 14 home runs and 37 RBI’s led the team. The senior catcher was integral to Indiana State’s 27-17 record and looks to continue his senior swan song with success in the Missouri Valley Conference playoffs starting Wednesday.

Jake Wilson - Liberty University

Liberty has already started the playoffs, and the Flames are off to a hot start, winning two straight in the Quarterfinals over the weekend. Wilson picked up an RBI in the series, and on Thursday, he faces off against Jacksonville in search of a championship berth.

Jordan Marks - USC Upstate

Marks entered the record books for USC Upstate last week. The junior RHP ended his season going six innings, allowing two earned runs while striking out his 100th batter on the season and picking up his tenth win. With that win, he became the winningest pitcher in school history. Marks, who won his fourth Big South Starting Pitcher of the Week Award, had a season for the ages.

Miami Ohio swept Akron this weekend while Zapp picked up a couple of knocks, walks and RBI’s. The Redhawks have more baseball to play as they host Bowling Green tomorrow.

Matt Duffy - Canisius College

Duffy, a freshman right-hander, finished his season with a 3.50 earned run average and two wins. He was named to the All-MAAC Rookie Team; meanwhile, Canisius heads to the MAAC Championship Round, which begins this week.

Burnett ended his season with a .283 batting average, one home run and ten RBI’s. Meanwhile, for the second time in his tenure, the Timberwolves head to the NCAA Tournament.

Mat Szabo - Angelo State University

ASU is heading to the NCAA South-Central Regional Tournament. After a 39-7 season, their appearance is a surprise to none, and Szabo looks to be a big factor in their postseason fate. He pitched five innings of two-run ball on the weekend, grabbing his fourth and final win of the regular season.

Adam Hall - Aberdeen IronBirds (A+)

Hall has been on a hot streak as of late, collecting five hits in the last week, hitting .278 with a .350 OBP since Aberdeen headed home. His speed is to marvel at:
