We are now 13 weeks into the college season for most clubs; meanwhile, the regular season has concluded for a handful of teams. Below, we recap the performance of GLC alumni in league and postseason play over the last week.

Tyrus Barclay - University of Mary

Barclay’s college career came to a close on the weekend. Ty finished the season with four hits in the two playoff games. The catcher from Wyoming, Ontario, had a remarkable final season, doing it on both ends, playing a great defense, in which he threw out 15 baserunners, while hitting .320. Congratulations to Ty on a great playing career.

Ari Sechopoulos - College of Charleston

Sechopoulos made noise offensively and defensively during the last week. He picked up six base hits, drove in three runs, picking up his sixth home run of the season on Monday. He’s bumped his average up to .275 and RBI total to 31.

Max Wright - Indiana State University

Wright’s senior season has been excellent with both Indiana State’s run and his performance. However, it was a rough weekend for the Sycamores, but Wright got four hits against Southern Illinois, picking up a triple, a double, and three RBI’s.

Jake Wilson - Liberty University

Wilson picked up two hits against Kennesaw State over the weekend, as Liberty won two out of three. Liberty is now 35-12 on the year.

Garner Spoljaric - Stetson University

Spoljaric came up huge on two occasions for Stetson this past week. He pitched 4+ innings twice, allowing only one run and striking out nine. He lowered his earned-run-average over 2.00 points and did so against Florida and North Florida.

Jordan Marks - USC Upstate

Marks had another quality start on Friday night, doing so against Campbell. He went six innings allowing three earned runs and punching out five. His season ERA is 1.94.

Matt Duffy - Canisius College

Duffy, a Burlington, Ont. native, pitched well for Canisius on Sunday, going five innings against Monmouth, allowing just one run and striking out six in a 7-1 win. The freshman has back-to-back starts in which he pitched at least five innings without allowing more than one run.

Mat Szabo - Angelo State University

Szabo went five innings of one-run ball in his outing against Arkansas Fort Smith on Saturday. The right-hander struck out six in a 10-1 win, improving his record to 3-2 on the season. ASU’s magical run continues; they are now 36-7.

Tyler Mosher - Davenport University

Mosher appeared in his fifth game of the season on Sunday. The freshman from Dutton, Ont., scored a run and recorded a putout in the field. The Panthers are now 26-14 on the season.

Eric Martin - Olney CC

Olney’s season ended this week, and despite the season-ending loss, for Martin, his season ended with a bang. This bomb against Wabash Valley put the finishing touches on Martin’s great season:

Adam Hall - Aberdeen IronBirds (A+)

After getting off to a slow start, Hall turned things around on Saturday. The shortstop got a hold of one, leaving the yard with a three-run blast for his first home run of the season. Watch and admire:
