Ten weeks have now gone by in the college season, and as usual, we recap how GLCs alumni performed over the last seven days.

Tyrus Barclay - University of Mary

Barclay’s hot stretch continues as he picked up six hits over the last four games the University of Mary’s played. He added two RBI’s as well and caught a couple stealing behind the plate.

Eric Martin - Olney CC

After missing some time, Martin is back and hasn’t missed a beat. Martin picked up five hits, doubled twice, drove in four runs, and for good measure walked five times. With Martin back in the lineup, Olney won three out of four against Frontier CC.

Ethan Baptie - Dodge City CC

In a four-game set against Dodge City CC, Baptie picked up five hits, doubling and driving in two runs. The right-handed-hitting outfielder has continued to hit all season long.

Michael MacDougall - University of Indianapolis

MacDougall struck out a pair in his outing against McKendree over the weekend. Meanwhile, Indianapolis is 17-15 on the season.

Alex Orenczuk - LSU Alexandria

As the bats went crazy for LSU Alexandria, so did Orenczuk’s. He picked up nine hits over the last week, went deep, and drove in nine runs in total. LSU Alexandria’s won three out of their last four, and Orenczuk has been a big reason for why.

Jameson Hart - William & Penn University

William & Penn has also won three out of four, and Hart’s contributions offensively have been integral. Hart picked up five hits over the last week and hit an RBI double on Sunday. William & Penn now has a 29-14 record.

Max Wright - Indiana State University

More of the same here as Wright had a pair of two-hit games on the week, adding his ninth and tenth home runs on the season. Wright’s senior swan song continues for the Sycamores.

Jake Wilson - Liberty University

Wilson picked up a trio of hits and a pair of RBIs over Liberty’s last four games. Liberty won the series against Coastal Carolina, and are now 27-10 on the campaign.

Eric Cerantola - Mississippi State University

It was another shutdown inning of work for Cerantola out of the pen for Mississippi. He struck out the side against UAB on 14 pitches, not allowing a runner to reach. Watch below:

Owen Diodati - University of Alabama

In Alabama’s series against Kentucky, Diodati opened up the weekend with three hits on Friday and closed it with a bomb on Sunday, his tenth of the year. Dio is atop of Alabama’s leaderboards in a number of categories due to his offensive production.

Corben Peters - Grambling University

The right-handed junior threw a scoreless inning of work against Texas Southern in which he struck out two. Grambling swept the series, winning three straight games.

Jordan Marks - USC Upstate

The Mid-Season Golden Spikes Award mention had yet another tremendous Friday night start. The right-hander threw eight innings of one-run baseball, striking out ten. In 69 innings, his 80 strikeouts and 1.57 earned run average is remarkable. USC Upstate will go up against Presbyterian College on Friday.

Brian Zapp - Miami Ohio University

Zapp added his third home run of the year on Sunday, going deep against Kent State. He also picked up a hit the day before. Miami Ohio is set to face off Central Michigan University next weekend.

Sechopoulos and Charleston played three different teams this past week and went 2-1. The senior first-baseman picked up an RBI in each game and went deep, picking up his fifth bomb on the season.

Caelan Cunningham - Lourdes University

Cunningham made his college debut over the weekend, picking up his first collegiate hit on Saturday. His base hit to right field came in the ninth inning, a moment he’ll never forget.
