Brian Zapp - FR - Miami (OH) University

Zapp made three more starts this weekend in a series sweep for the Redhawks. Zapp highlighted the weekend with a 2-3 performance while scoring three runs and walking twice in the Sunday win. Early in his Freshman season, Brian has started ten of thirteen Miami games.

Owen Diodati - FR - University of Alabama

Diodati and his Crimson Tide had their undefeated season spoiled on Saturday in a loss to Lipscomb before bouncing back Sunday to win the finale and take the series. In four games this week Dio collected a couple hits, including a big home-run, his fifth of the season, in the win on Sunday. Alabama moves to 14-1 on the season and will open up SEC Conference play next weekend when they host the Missouri Tigers.

Jackson Wahl - FR - Bethel University

Wahl continues to set the pace for the Pilots offense. The former GLC backstop has starred for Bethel so far this season as a Freshman. Wahl made four more starts this week picking up multi-hit games in two including a 3-4 performance on Friday. Wahl has made nineteen starts this year and is hitting .328 with seventeen RBIs.

Cam Sanderson - FR - University of British Columbia

Sanderson has secured the starting spot in the middle of the diamond for the T-Birds and has taken advantage of it. Offensively, he continues to pitch in adding another five hits this weekend in four starts, including two multi hit games in a Sunday twin bill where UBC would split. The red shirt Freshman is hitting .311 with nine stolen bases so far this season in eighteen games started.

Adrian O'Toole - FR - Medaille College

O'Toole and his Mavericks kicked their 2020 season off this past weekend and the Freshman from Kitchener announced his presence with authority. In four games, O'Toole collected five hits, four RBI and stole a base for Medaille, including a 2-4, three RBI performance in a Saturday win.

Ethan Baptie - FR - Dodge City CC

Baptie and his Conqs split this weekend versus Colby CC in a four game conference tilt. The reigning GLC 18U defensive player of the year notched his first collegiate home run on Saturday in a 10-8 Dodge City win. He would also go 3-5 in a Friday contest where he scored a run as well.

Jacob Gajic - FR - Highland CC

Gajic went another solid six innings in his fifth start of the season for the Scotties on Saturday in a conference loss against Coffeyville. Jacob struck out two on the day.

Jason Boulanger - SO - Rend Lake CC

Boulanger made his fourth and longest relief appearance of the year for Rend Lake on Saturday. In four innings of work Boulanger struck out five in a solid effort for the Indianapolis commit. Boulanger sits with fifteen strike-outs through eleven innings.

Eric Cerantola - So - Mississippi State University

Cerantola made his fourth start of the season on Sunday against a familiar face in former GLC teammate Kyle Maves and his Quinnipiac Bobcats. Through three innings of work, he struck out four in an eventual win for the Bulldogs. Cerantola and Hail State will host Arkansas in the opening weekend of SEC conference play this coming weekend.

Kyle Maves - SO - Quinnipiac University

Kyle and his Bobcats hung in this weekend as they travelled to Starksville to take on Mississippi State. Maves continued to roll offensively in his three starts collecting a hit in each. On Saturday in a tight 5-4 loss, Maves added an RBI as well. He would also get a base hit via bunt off friend and fellow GLC RHP Eric Cerantola.

Cal Theal - SO - Niagara University

Theal made two relief appearances this weekend for the Purple Eagles. In a combined three innings of work Cal struck out three. Niagara has a busy week as they finish their western swing early in the week with a three game series against Boise State before travelling back east to face James Madison next weekend.

Spencer Marcus - SO - Niagara University

Marcus had a strong week for the Purple Eagles as they battled in a four game set versus Washington State. He appeared in all four of the games this weekend and collected multi-hit games in two of them. He would add another hit and drive in a run on the weekend as well.

Brett Corbeth - SO - University of British Columbia

Corbeth also saw time in all four UBC games this weekend. Brett started three games behind the plate for the T-Birds and came in off the bench in a fourth game to collect a big RBI and would later add a hit. The two-way Sophomore has seen action in fourteen games so far this season offensively and has pitched in four times on the mound as well.

Noah Skirrow - JR - Liberty University

Skirrow led his Liberty Flames to another win on Saturday pitching into the sixth inning, allowing only five hits and striking out six. The junior leads Liberty in innings pitched (23) and holds opposing hitters to a .179 batting average.

Jordan Marks - JR - USC Upstate

Marks pitched into the sixth inning for his fourth consecutive start to begin the season on Friday night. Jordan struck out four and failed to surrender a walk in his outing. Through twenty-five and two thirds innings on the season he has struck out twenty-nine and holds a 1.75 ERA. Marks and the Spartans will travel to High Point this coming weekend to open up Big South Conference play.

Noah Myers - JR - University of South Carolina

Myers continues to separate himself as the Gamecocks starting centre fielder with three more starts this weekend in a series sweep of Cornell. Myers contributed offensively by collecting two hits, five walks while scoring three runs. Myers also added three stolen bases and now has seven on the season. Noah and his 11-4 Gamecocks will also open up SEC conference action next weekend as they host Tennessee.

Corben Peters - JR - Grambling State University

Peters worked an inning and a third in his fourth appearance this season for the Tigers on Sunday out of the pen. Corben and Grambling State will head to Texas next weekend to take on Prairie View A&M in a three game set.

Garner Spoljaric - JR - Stetson University

Gar made two appearances out of the pen this weekend for the Hatters en route to a 2-1 record. On Saturday, he worked a clean inning striking out one and would come in to put out a fire in a tight loss on Sunday. The 11-3 Hatters will host Penn this coming weekend before opening up ASUN conference play the weekend following.

Daniel Warkentin - JR - Eastern Michigan University

Warkentin has settled in nicely in his first season with the Eagles. Locked in as the starting third baseman and clean up hitter, Wark added hits in all three games this weekend, extending his hitting streak to seven games. Danny would also add in a pair of RBIs as well. Wark and Eastern Michigan will travel to Manhattan, Kansas this coming week to take on former GLC teammate Griffin Hassall and his Kansas State Wildcats.

Jacob Douglas - JR - Ft. Hays University

Douglas made his seventh appearance on the year in his first start of the season on Saturday. The versatile right hander answered the bell going five innings in his longest outing of the year while striking out six. Fort Hays welcomes the #2 ranked Central Missouri to town this coming weekend for a three game conference series beginning Friday.

Alex Orenczuk - JR - LSU Alexandria

Orenczuk saw action in three more games this weekend for LSU Alexandria. He added a walk on Sunday in his eleventh game of the year.

Jameson Hart - JR - William Penn University

Four more starts for the Junior this past weekend for William and Penn. Jamer continues his hot start at the plate adding five hits, three of which in a 3-3 performance on Sunday that also saw him pick up his twenty sixth and twenty seventh RBI of the season.

Jake Wilson - SR - Bowling Green University

The senior erupted offensively this weekend for the Falcons. Jake collected six hits in three games highlighted by a four for four performance on Friday night where he would also score three times. Wilson leads Bowling Green in several offensive categories including; batting average, at bats and runs.

Max Wright - SR - Indiana State University

The Senior backstop from Toronto made his season debut this week after battling a wrist injury earlier this season. The Sycamores leader stepped right in and helped out offensively adding hits in three of four starts, walking four times and scoring runs in back to back wins on Saturday and Sunday in Kansas. With the injury behind him, Wright looks to build off a very impressive junior campaign last year with ISU.

Ari Sechopoulos - SR - College of Charleston

Another week and yet another dominant offensive performance from the Senior from Windsor. Ari hit safely in all four starts this week in four College of Charleston wins. Highlight of the week came when Ari hit a monster home run on Tuesday night against Clemson. He would also collect six RBIS on the weekend to add to his team leading twenty on the season. As impressively, Sechopoulos continues to slug over seven hundred while only striking out twice.

Michael Mommersteeg - SR - Valparaiso University

Mommersteeg retired the side in order while adding a strike out in his fifth relief appearance of the year on Friday in a Crusader loss. Mommersteeg is holding opposing hitters to a .125 batting average as him and Valpo head to Southeastern Louisiana this coming weekend.

Tyrus Barclay - SR - Emporia State University

Barclay made two more starts behind the plate for the Hornets this weekend as they grabbed another MIAA conference series win on Sunday. Barclay walked and scored a run in the series finale. Through twelve games behind the plate this season, the field general Barclay, has yet to commit and error.

Mat Szabo - SR - Young Harris University

Szabo made his fifth start of his senior season for Young Harris on Saturday. His strikeout totals continue to sky rocket as he fanned another eight through six innings of work. The Sarnia native has forty-eight strike-outs through thirty innings pitched this season for the Mountain Lions.

Eric Lindsay - SR - Friends University

Lindsay made a mid-week start for the Falcons this past Tuesday and was impressive over five innings of work. In the fourth start of the year he struck out seven. Eric has now struck out twenty-three through seventeen innings of work this year.

Carter Sanderson - SR - Alma College

Sanderson saw action in two games this weekend for the Scots as they earned a series sweep over Wilmington College. Carter added a hit, walk and run in a win in game two of the twinbill on Saturday after collecting a hit in the series opener.
