Noah Skirrow - Team Canada

Skirrow was lights out for Canada in the World Baseball Classic. The 6’3” right-hander took the mound in game 3 against Columbia, throwing 5 scoreless innings giving up only a pair of hits, and striking out 5. Be sure to watch Skirrow work his way through the ranks, as he signed a minor league deal with the Phillies in the summer of 2020. 

Owen Diodati - University of Oregon

Last week, Diodati collected his first home run as a Duck as he helped Oregon to a win against UCLA. The Niagara Falls native will look to contribute further against Washington State this weekend. 

Brian Zapp - Miami University

Zapp had a fantastic day at the plate against NIU yesterday as he went deep for his third home run of the season. Zapp led the Redhawks to a win as he put up 4 RBI and 2 runs in his 4 plate appearances. 

Matt Duffy - Canisius College

Duffy was dominant in his start last week against Marshall. He went 6 scoreless innings giving up a single walk and punching out 11. Duffy knocked down his ERA to an impressive 1.08 on the season after his outing against Marshall.  

Josh Niles - Canisius College

Niles came up clutch for the Golden Griffins as they faced off against Marshall last week. Niles, the 6’3” sophomore, went deep for his second homer of the year and helped Canisius secure a 4-3 win over the Thundering Herd. 

Eric Martin - Abilene Christian University

Martin has really found his stride with ACU within the past few weeks. He tacked on 4 hits and 3 RBI last week while improving his average to .320 on the season. ACU will face the University of Texas, Arlington this weekend. 

Jacob Gajic - Northwest Missouri State University

Gajic continues to put up solid numbers on the bump for Northwest Missouri this season. Although NMSU could not grab the win, Gajic went 4.2 innings giving up only 2 earned runs and striking out 3. He holds a healthy 2.60 ERA this season and will face Emporia State this weekend. 

Brett Corbeth - University of British Columbia

Corbeth remains reliable on both sides of the ball for UBC. While notching a couple of hits at the plate, Corbeth also put up 5 solid innings on the mound for the Thunderbirds giving up only 3 earned runs. UBC will face the College of Idaho in an upcoming 4-game set. 

Ben Morrison - Indiana Tech 

Morrison had a day for himself against Mid-America Christian last week. In his 5 plate appearances, the freshman piled on 3 hits and a run in a 7-5 win. Morrison holds an imposing .458 average for the season. 

Riley Silva - Barton Community College

Silva has been a dominant force at the plate and on the basepaths. The 6’1” outfielder has put up a .425 average while swiping 25 bags for Barton this season. Last week, Silva began a 5-game hit streak where he notched 8 total hits over that time, helping his club sweep Colby CC in 4 games. 

Braedan MacDonald - Kankakee Community College

MacDonald carried his weight in a 9-5 win against DuPage last week. He earned a couple of hits at the dish, including a solo shot for his first home run of the season. MacDonald and Kankakee will face off against Highland CC in a doubleheader this weekend. 

Core Jackson - South Mountain Community College

Jackson notched his first home run of the season last week against Paradise Valley CC, following it up a few days later with another long ball against Western Nebraska. Jackson improves his average to .300 and looks to stay hot against Mesa CC next Tuesday.
