Nick Groves - Niagara University

Groves has made a great comeback within the last week of play. After a tough start to the season, the freshman has improved his average to .276. Last week, Groves produced 6 hits and 6 walks over a 4 game series against George Mason. 

Jacob Gajic - Northwest Missouri State University

Gajic was dealing on the mound last week for NMSU. After a rough outing against Central Missouri, he returned for 3.2 innings of scoreless baseball striking out 6 between his two most recent appearances. Gajic now holds a healthy 2.89 ERA. 

Brian Zapp - Miami University

Zapp continues to produce for Miami, where he had a pair of hits, 6 walks, and 5 stolen bases last week. He currently has a .321 average up to this point in this season. Miami will face Toledo this weekend. 

Matt Duffy - Canisius College

Duffy had a great appearance in his start last week. Duffy threw a steady 6.1 innings giving up only 3 hits and striking out 6. Duffy and the Golden Griffins will play Marshall in their upcoming 3 game set. 

Aaron Duffy - Canisius College

Duffy made a solid outing in his single appearance last week. The 6’4” right-hander dealt in his 4 innings on the mound holding a strong William & Mary team to only 5 hits. Keep an eye out for Duffy to make an appearance this weekend against Marshall. 

Eric Martin - Abilene Christian University

Martin has made an extremely strong start with ACU. The outfielder racked up 5 runs last week for Abilene Christian, along with 3 hits including 2 doubles. ACU’s next appearance will be against Oral Roberts on March 15. 

Nick George - William Penn University

George punished Presentation University last week. In their final game of the series going for the sweep, George led the way in their 19-3 win. The 6’2” right-handed hitter went 5-5 with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI. William Penn will battle Park University in a pair of double headers early next week.

Cam Sanderson - University of British Columbia

Sanderson and UBC split their series against Oregon Tech last weekend. Sanderson had 3 hits and 3 RBI in the series. He improves his average to .354 this season. UBC will face Corban University this weekend. 

Brett Corbeth - University of British Columbia

Although Corbeth failed to make an appearance on the mound, he continues to be effective at the plate. The two-way Corbeth holds his average to a whopping .370 thus far, while picking up 5 hits last weekend against Oregon Tech.

Brett Hecimovich - Kankakee Community College

Hecimovich has made 4 appearances so far for Kankakee. Over that span, he has limited opponents to 2 earned runs and has struck out 5. Kankakee will face the College of DuPage on March 15. 

Aiden Nugent - Kankakee Community College

Nugent had a day for himself in last week's matchup against Rend Lake. He went 6 strong innings on the mound only giving up 5 hits and 1 earned run. He knocks his ERA down to 2.84 on the season over 6.1 innings pitched.
