Great Lake Canadians send an impressive 15 players to Toronto Blue Jays Tournament 12

The Great Lake Canadians will be represented by 15 players at the Toronto Blue Jays Tournament 12 this upcoming week at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.  This second annual event showcases the top amateur talent from across the country and has become the premier event for amateur baseball in Canada.

The following players have been selected to represent the GLC this year:

Pitchers – Brett Stenger (Kingsville, Ont.), Austin Shields (Dundas, Ont.), Tyler Whitbread (Camlachie, Ont.), Michael Brettell (Thornhill, Ont.), Mat Szabo (Sarnia, Ont.), Dalton Harvey (Cambridge, Ont.).  Hunter Spoljaric (Lisle, Ont.), Tyler Whalen (Hamiton, Ont.). Garner Spoljaric (Lisle, Ont.)

Position Players – Adam Hall (London, Ont.), Tyrus Barclay (Wyoming, Ont.), Max Wright (Toronto, Ont.), Matt Warkentin (Leamington, Ont.), Austin Oulds (Chatham, Ont.), Miles Gordon (Oakville, Ont.).

Great Lake Canadians Staff members, Kirk Barclay, Derek Bloomfield, Jeff Helps, Adam Arnold, Adam Stern and Chris Robinson will be running the showcase day on Tuesday while Robinson and Stern will coach Team Green throughout the event.
